Frequently asked questions

How many Event Crew will I need?

Staffing will depend on the style of service and the number of guests at your party.  Please contact us to discuss your event with an Event Manager.


Do you provide beverages and catering?

We excel at service and do not provide food or drink; we know some excellent people who do though!  We are more than happy to recommend local suppliers. 

When will my Crew arrive?

Generally we suggest they arrive an hour before your guests so that is everything is just perfect!


What services can the Crew complete?

Our Wait Staff Crew are cross trained from front of house to bar and can execute any type of event from House Party Soirées to Weddings and can accommodate any reasonable ask.

All our Crew are hospitality professionals and we commit to an Event Manager leading every event to ensure seamless delivery.

What will an Event Manager do?

Our Event Managers are experts in their field and have a lot of experience delivering events.  In addition to meeting the brief, our Managers will

  • Execute event timelines 
  • Direct and co-ordinate setup, service and breakdown
  • Oversee staff and service techniques 
  • Event trouble-shoot and problem solve
     

Our Event Managers will run your event from start to finish.  You will not need to give Event Crew direction but if you do want to make a suggestion, please approach your Event Manager at any time, we are at your service!

What do I need to provide for a bar?

Our Crew will serve whatever you provide.  It’s a good idea to have ice, spoons, wine and beer openers, tea towels, cutting board and knife and any fruit or garnish you wish. Don’t forget to make a rubbish bin available to keep used bottles out of the way.


How do you accept payment?

When your booking is confirmed you will receive all the detail you need. A 20% deposit will be payable and the balance paid 8 weeks prior to your event.


What are the benefits of booking your Crew?

Lilian Ivy provide all the Crew you need, when you need them.   

This allows you to host and enjoy an exclusive event without the expense and intrusion of in-house staff and gives you freedom to choose food and beverage suppliers or provide your own. 

Our experienced Event Manager will be pleased to meet with you to understand your bespoke brief and guest experience.   

Staffing your event this way is a cost effective solution that relieves you of all the tasks of recruiting and managing your own staff.
